RE: "Why did you have to give Northstar a gay marriage with none of the X-Men objecting to it?" As I remember it, Warbird actually had a problem with it and didn't attend the wedding. But she's a wacky alien with a backwards culture. Other X-characters like Havok and Puck were weird about the wedding too, but didn't object. So other points of view were shown, just not give any credence. And rightly so, because bigotry's not what the issue was about.
