Can I get a little light in here, please.

Jessica Drew has shown a strong dislike of babies. She's explicitly not wanted kids. And none of that "she changed her mind" bull because we women hear that crap enough times in our lives.

All you’ve seen so far is one promotional image. You don’t know the story yet–so railing against it is premature. There will be plenty of time to not like it when you know what it actually is.

I feel this.

If anything the fact that she’s shown those opinions puts her in a more morally interesting narrative position.

How does a person who identifies as a hero deal with the immediate responsibility of a life they don’t necessarily want/ isn’t part of their plan?

It’s actually a great idea, and a massive opportunity for Marvel to write for a specific and large group of women who rarely get fiction that explores their life position. It’s a big responsibility you’re undertaking Marvel doing this thing justice.
